Biology II- this week is devoted to our study of bacteria. Monday we will use microscopes and prepared slides to become familiar with identifying and naming bacterial samples. Tuesday we will prepare Gramm stain slides from our culture plates drawing and naming samples observed. Wednesday lab will focus on zones of inhibition plates will be measured and drawn to scale...products evaluated for their ability to control bacterial growth. Thursday work in class to complete analysis questions lab due Friday. Friday lecture How antibiotics control bacterial growth.
