Bio- Monday we will introduce human genetics in lecture... Tuesday How to work with pedigree charts WS will be due Wednesday.... Wednesday RS on pedigrees and the royal family due Thursday... Thursday- Lecture twin types and studies complete on Friday FRIDAY IS A QUIZ DAY!

AP Bio- This week we wrap up evolution. Lecture cladogram set up Monday. Tuesday lecture division of earths history
followed with work time for analysis for our species poster and rs. on bottle necks both of which are due Wednesday.
Wednesday-Thursday continue lecture on evolution of life on earth...ws cladograms. Friday cladograms due Quiz evolution

Biology- We are working on punnett squares and will continue this week. Monday- review dihybrids and introduce incomplete dominance. Tuesday- quiz ws practice squares. Wed- continue worksheet. Thursday Jeopardy review and Friday Test...Genetics

Week of 3/11/19

Academic Bio- This week we introduce Gregor Mendel and Punnett Squares. Our plan will be: Monday- lecture Mendel and his experiments Tuesday- Introduce Punnett Squares. Wednesday & Thursday coin Toss Lab Report due Friday. Friday practice worksheet Monohybrids.

AP Bio- Monday finish GATTACCA. Tuesday- Test Day Evolution part 1 Wednesday intro Hardy Weinberg lecture with practice problems. Thursday Gold fish Lab Friday finish lab and intro speciation in lecture.

Week of 3/4/2019

Biology- Monday we will complete our lecture on mutations with causes and tests for. Mutation worksheet due. Tuesday jeopardy review DNA- 4 note packets included. Wednesday test day DNA. Thursday I will be on a field trip so students will have a worksheet assignment. Friday will will introduce the study of heredity.

Biology- Our topic this week is mutations. Monday will be a work day on transcription/ translation worksheet due at the end of class. Tuesday lecture types of mutations focus on genes. Wednesday lecture chromosome mutations RS Mutations due. Thursday-worksheet on mutations due Friday. Friday - pre birth tests for mutations lecture. Jeopardy review Monday 3/4 and test Tuesday 3/5 DNA.

AP Bio- Monday Lecture intro to Natural Selection. Tuesday Orgami birds lab. Wednesday Bird fly off lab due 3/6 and lecture Artificial selection. Thursday evolution of behavior lecture start design a bird if time allows Friday- Bird Lab. Report due 3/8.

Biology- our topic is DNA. we are scheduled for a quiz on the history of DNA for Monday. Tuesday- lecture from DNA to protein with intro to RNA Wed.- Lecture protein synthesis Thursday Quiz Replication Friday WS protein synthesis

Sorry guys it has been very difficult trying to keep the blog current with all of the delays and interruptions so I will try for the next 3 days....Thursday 2/14

all bio classes are on the same topic...DNA. Thursday will be lecture on replication with a review of enzymes involved. Friday will be a worksheet day on anything DNA. Monday 2/18 will be a DNA quiz 1st packet not including replication.

AP Bio- we are focused on evolution a topic with lots of lecture and even more labs and assignments so stay current.
